These serrated grippers reduce the amount of material needed for clamping in OP1 machining while proving a high degree of holding power. Hardened tool steel teeth bite into the material providing a more secure hold in rough/heavy machining over traditional smooth jaws. The gripper’s low profile design clamps on to just 2mm of material, minimising the extra material to remove in a second operation and improving cycle times. Individual grippers can also be used in custom fixtures and jigs for high volume production.
